DISCOVER: @HOMEINHEIDELBERG - THE JOURNEY TO STYLE AND INSPIRATION

Instagram is an amazing platform where you can meet and meet amazing and talented people. One such connection we made is the Home in Heidelberg Studio profile , founded by Danilo Floreani and Paolo Amerio. We discovered a common passion for interior design and started working together. Danilo and Paolo described it as love at first sight! In their own words:

" The decision to collaborate came directly, almost urgently. We wanted to discover more about your world and vision and translate it into our way of perceiving the environment and styling. Since then, we can't stop showing your pieces - they are too beautiful to share with our by the community. "

Danilo and Paolo have created many beautiful and stunning arrangements with our glass in their beautiful home, which they post on their Instagram . We asked them for a short interview and we are thrilled that they agreed to present their work to you.

The first post of our collaboration on their Instagram may be familiar to you. They created a spring table arrangement that completely charmed us!

Interview

Our first question was focused on their interior style. How would you describe it and where did you discover it?

Danilo and Paolo: " Our apartment serves as a neutral but refined scenic backdrop, capable of accommodating any type of product and furniture. We strive for detailed beauty, pure balance and intangible harmony to capture the hidden poetry of space and reveal its deep essence. Our interior style is not easy to label: although our base is rooted in Scandinavian design, colors are extremely important to us as they reflect the 'joie de vivre' (French for 'joy of life') which is our motto as individuals and as a couple ."

Which design piece is your favorite? Which one is on your wish list? Which is the least popular?

Danilo and Paolo: "We have some exceptional pieces that are extremely precious to us:

Wisteria
Large canvas painting by Japanese artist Mitsuko Hoshino . It is a work of art that emerges from a painterly language that flows into fine poetry; a dialogue of nuances, shapes and research that can only amaze, captivate and enchant you. We have been in close contact with @mitsuko_hoshino for several years, visiting her exhibitions and discussing her work. From the first moment we were captivated by her soft and flawless language, majestic yet humble and quiet, able to speak to the heart and vibrate deeply in harmony. We spotted 'Wisteria' hanging in the hallway of Mitsuko's private house a few years ago and have been dreaming about it ever since.

CHI / tre - hanging lamps from Lieblingslicht
We purchased these lamps before we bought our condo and they stayed in their box for over a year before being hung. It was love at first sight and we couldn't resist them. Three glass spheres are placed at different heights, illuminating each other and highlighting the enchanting play of light. They add a warm and cozy atmosphere to our living room, yet remain discreet and soft, yet distinctive at the same time.

Ribbon - dining table from Bolia.com
Our large dining table, made of solid white oak, can host up to 12 people. We bought this spacious table because its Scandinavian aesthetic fits perfectly with our simple kitchen, and its clean lines emphasize elegance and design without overshadowing the details and furniture next to it. Eating with friends at home is always the most wonderful holiday, and the kitchen is certainly the room we use the most when we gather with the people we love.

Quelle Fête Classique by Rotganzen is definitely on our wish list - simply a work of pop art.

We don't have a least favorite piece: even if some pieces are hidden away in the closets, they are still very dear to us because of their story and the memories they bring."

What advice would you give our readers if they are trying to find their style?

Danilo and Paolo: "Play, rearrange, try... And start again. Read books and magazines, go to exhibitions, watch movies, visit different spaces - everything can serve as a source of inspiration to find a style that perfectly reflects who you are."

Who inspires you, who do you follow for ideas?

Danilo and Paolo: "We are constantly keeping up with current trends and products through online magazines, interior design books and browsing Instagram. We get inspiration from various sources such as museums, exhibitions, shops, travel, fairs, movies, books and the like. Nature also plays a big role in how we perceive interior design: the different seasons mark the ever-changing way we look at details, trying to let the essence of passing time shine through and recreate that feeling in every corner of our home."

Big thanks to the @homeinheidelberg guys for the interview. Don't forget to follow their Instagram so you don't miss a new post!
